INSTRUMENT PANEL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively secure the visibility of a display indication part and the operability of on-vehicle devices without problems wherein parting properties in the forward field of view of a vehicle are deteriorated. SOLUTION: An instrument panel device comprises an instrument panel body 1 disposed at the front of a cabin and a center console part 2 extending from the lateral center of the instrument panel body 1 downward toward the bottom part of the cabin. An instrument panel recess 25 having a bottom surface part 24 formed from the lateral center to the end thereof on the driver's seat side and a step part 23 extending upward from the front side part of the bottom surface part is formed in the upper surface part 7 of the instrument panel body 1. A falciform design surface arranged continuously with the driver's side portion of an instrument panel via the lateral center thereof is formed by the step part 23 of the instrument panel recess 25 and the center console part 2. The display indication part 5 for displaying the information on the on-vehicle devices is disposed at the portion of the step part 23 which is positioned forward of the center console part 2.
