PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer in which the back pressure of each of a plurality of recording heads to jet out ink of the same color is made the same pressure such that color unevenness or the like is prevented from occurring in an image, and the size of the printer can be prevented from getting large. SOLUTION: The ink jet printer 1 comprises a plurality of recording heads 10a and 10b, and a damper 11 to supply ink to the plurality of recording heads 10a and 10b, the damper 11 including an ink chamber 21 provided therein, an ink inlet port 23 through which the ink supplied from an outside is made to flow into the ink chamber 21, and a plurality of ink outlet ports 24a and 24b through which the ink in the ink chamber 21 is supplied to the plurality of recording heads 10a and 10b and which are prepared as many as the plurality of recording heads 10a and 10b. The plurality of ink outlet ports 24a and 24b of the damper 11 are connected to the plurality of recording heads 10a and 10b through ink supply pipes 12a and 12b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
