Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a myoelectricity measuring instrument using a capacitance type electrode wherein the measurement signal is not influenced from changes in the capacitance value between an organism and the electrode, and a measuring method. SOLUTION: The myoelectricity measuring instrument is provided with a first conductive electrode (7) to be attached to the skin of an organism via a dielectric material, a second conductive electrode (8) to be attached directly to the skin of the organism using no dielectric material, and a high-pass filter constitutional part (2). When the first electrode is connected with the signal input terminal of the high-pass filter constitutional part, the second electrode is connected with the earth terminal of the high-pass filter constitutional part, and the first electrode is attached to the skin of the organism via a dielectric material, the resistance value of a resistance element (Rf) and the capacity value of a capacitive element (Cf) constituting the high-pass filter constitutional part (2) are determined, so that the capacitance (Ce) between the organism and the first electrode, impedance within the organism body and the high-pass filter constitutional part (2) can form a high-pass filter with a prescribed cut-off frequency.
