Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization electron beam irradiation apparatus for a sheet material which can excellently maintain the decompression state of an irradiation processing room and can be fabricated economically by being downsized. SOLUTION: An irradiation processing chamber provided with an electron beam irradiating means 12 is installed in a carrier path for carrying the sheet material 1, and an exhaustion system 17 having a decompression means for making the inside in the decompression state is connected to the irradiation processing chamber 10. A carry-in port 10A and a carry-out port 10B of the sheet material formed in the irradiation processing chamber 10 are fitted airtight with decompression maintenance adjusting means 21 and 22. The respective decompression maintenance adjusting means 21 and 22 place a pair of grip frame bodies 24 inside a case body 23 so as to compress and grip the sheet material 1, and to advance and retreat in the case body 23 by a pressure moving means with one of the grip frame bodies 24 as a fixed side and the other as a mobile side. The respective grip frame bodies 24 comprise a plurality of continuous slave frames 25 and small diameter rollers 26 rotatably placed inside the respective slave frames. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
