Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inverter device and a ventilator blower wherein constant-airflow operation can be performed at low cost with less variation in airflow. SOLUTION: The inverter device includes: a brushless DC motor 5 having a stator 6 with winding wound thereon and a rotor 7 including a magnet; a position detecting means 9 that detects the position of the magnet relative to the stator 6; an inverter circuit 4 that converts DC voltage into alternating current; a driving means 10 that drives the inverter circuit 4 to rotate a fan attached to the rotor 7 according to the position of the magnet detected by the position detecting means 9; and a constant-airflow controlling means 11 that controls the airflow of the fan to a constant value utilizing the relation between the current passed through the stator winding via the inverter circuit 4 and the number of revolutions of the rotor 7.
