IMAGE INSPECTION DEVICE, IMAGE INSPECTION PROGRAM, AND IMAGE INSPECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize an image inspection device capable of in advance inspecting whether tone jump, color fall over or the like will be generated or not when printing is effected by data after color conversion employing ICC profile. SOLUTION: In the image inspection device, a first conversion unit 210 converts the image data of RGB color space into image data of CMYK color space for printing based on the ICC profile. A second conversion unit 220 converts the image data of the RGB color space into data in YUV space or data for comparison without basing on the ICC profile. A third conversion unit 230 converts data (image data in the CMYK color space) after conversion by the first conversion unit 210 into the data in the YUV color space or data to be inspected without basing on the ICC profile. A difference inspecting unit 240 obtains a difference between the data for comparison and the data to be inspected to output the difference as difference data. A result of evaluation informing unit 250 informs alarm to outside based on the difference data output from the difference detecting unit 240. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
