TERMINAL CRIMPING METHOD, TERMINAL CRIMPING DEVICE, AND TERMINAL CRIMPING WIRE MANUFACTURING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for crimping a terminal to a wire end part with a coating peeled off, for the wire not to be bent or folded in a convex shape at crimping. SOLUTION: The terminal crimping device includes: an applicator 10 consisting of crimpers 13, 15 as well as anvils 14, 16 being as crimping tools, a slide cutter 17 cutting a connection part of the terminal and a belt body, and a cut-off punch 18 pressing down the slide cutter 17; and a clamping device 50 retaining a wire E to move it up and down. In crimping the terminal, first, the wire E is lowered down to a top-face height position H2' of the slide cutter by the clamping device 50. Later, while the wire E is lowered down to a crimping height position H1 by the clamping device 50, the crimpers 13, 15 are lowered to crimp the terminal to an end part of the wire, and at the same time, the slide cutter 17 is lowered to have the terminal cut off from the belt body.
