LANE DEVIATION ALARM DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early issue an alarm when detecting the other vehicle in front of an own-vehicle in an adjacent lane adjacent to the traveling lane of the own-vehicle, with respect to a lane deviation alarm device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This lane detection alarm device for the vehicle is provided with: a lane recognition part 7b for recognizing the traveling lane of a vehicle; a route estimation part 7e for estimating the predicted route of a vehicle; a lane deviation decision part 7f for deciding the deviation of a vehicle from a traveling lane based on a decision line set so as to be extended almost in parallel with a traveling lane recognized by the lane recognition part 7b and a route estimated by the route estimation part 7e; and a first alarm buzzer 11 for issuing an alarm when the deviation of the vehicle from the traveling lane is decided by the lane deviation decision part 7f. The device is provided with an other vehicle detection part 7c for detecting the other vehicle in front of the vehicle on the adjacent lane; and a decision line setting part 7d for, when the other vehicle has not been detected by the other vehicle detection part 7c, setting a first decision line as a decision line, and for, when the other vehicle is detected by the other vehicle detection part 7c, setting a second decision line as the decision line.
