SPEECH CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech control device capable of performing a control directly by a speech feature itself. SOLUTION: A speech acquiring section 2 acquires speech and converts it to an electrical signal. A feature amount calculation means 4 performs frequency analysis on the speech electrical signal and calculates a feature amount. A vowel determination means 6 determines a vowel based on similarity with the vowel which is registered beforehand, based on the calculated feature amount. A control means 8 assumes a vector of a size corresponding to the similarity in a direction corresponding to the vowel which is determined by the vowel determination means 6, in a plane or space in which each vowel is related to different directions. The control means 8 outputs a control signal based on the vector which is assumed in this way. Thereby, control based on the speech is performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
