Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for facilitating maintenance or management of an object that degrades with the passage of time. SOLUTION: A management device for managing the object having quality varying with time comprises: a measuring means for measuring the environmental variable for varying the rate of quality variation of a substance; and a calculating means for calculating the effective elapsed time, which is a time reflecting the degree of progression of the variations in the effective quality, based on the environmental variable measured by the measuring means and the actual elapsed time which actually passes, and an outputting means for outputting the effective elapsed time calculated by the calculating means.
