PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an electronic program guide with low power consumption and in real time even when a user does not view a television. SOLUTION: A content display processing apparatus 1 is provided with a high-speed radio communication part 31 driven by a main power supply part 71, a low-speed radio communication part 32 driven by a sub power supply part 72 even though the main power supply part 71 is turned off, a power supply state detecting part 11 for detecting whether the main power supply part 71 is turned on, and a program information acquiring part 132 for using the second communication part to receive content selection information when the main power supply is turned off, as a result of the detection. Even when the user does not view digital broadcasting with the content display processing apparatus 1 (namely, the main power supply part 71 is turned off), the content display processing apparatus 1 can acquire the electronic program guide with low power consumption and in real time because the electronic program guide can be acquired through the low-speed radio communication part 32.
