SIGNAL SWITCHING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD OF SIGNAL SWITCHING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal switching apparatus for inputting and outputting video signals for executing a signal processing by suppressing the increase of a circuit scale even when the number of the video signals to be handled is increased. SOLUTION: The signal switching apparatus includes a switching processing part 17 for switching a supply destination for supplying video signals input to video signal input parts 111 and 112 and the video signals to which signal processing is executed by signal processing parts 12 and 13 to the signal processing parts 12 and 13 and an output processing part 15. The signal processing parts 12 and 13 are provided with multiplexing circuits 121 and 131 for multiplexing the plurality of video signals to which the signal processing is executed and outputting them to the switching processing part 17, and selection circuits 122 and 132 for selecting and separating the video signals to be a signal processing object from the multiplexed video signals input through the witching processing part 17. The video signal output part 15 includes a selection circuit 151 for selecting and separating the video signals to be the output object from the multiplexed video signals input through the switching processing part 17.
