TRANSPORT STATUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND TRANSPORT STATUS MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transported information management system and transported information management method capable of grasping an information status in information exchange and transport using an information transportable medium or paper medium leading to a security hole in information leakage measures. SOLUTION: When attribute information on information to be transported is received from a portable telephone 2, an information management server 4 stores in an information management DB 4a the attribute information and status information indicating an in-transit status in association with each other; and when attribute information on transported information is received from an information registration client 3, the information management server 4 specifies correspondent attribute information corresponding to the received attribute information on the transported information from among those attribute information on the information to be transported in the information management DB 4a, and changes the status as indicated by the status information associated with the correspondent attribute information from "in-transit" to "transported". Upon receiving read request information, the information management server 4 provides a sender of the read request information with the attribute information on the information to be transported and the status information in the information management DB 4a.
