Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for electron beam irradiation which make it possible to irradiate a linear object with an electron beam uniformly. SOLUTION: A device 1 for electron beam irradiation includes a pair of rollers 3a and 3b, an electron beam irradiation component 10 and a pair of guide rollers 4a and 4b. The electron beam irradiation component 10 irradiates an electric wire 6 spanning the pair of the rollers 3a and 3b with an electron beam. The pair of the guide rollers 4a and 4b keeps the distance from the electron beam irradiation component 10 to sections located across the pair of the rollers 3a and 3b spanned with the wire 6 equal mutually and maintains the sections located across the pair of the rollers 3a and 3b spanned with the wire 6 in the direction E' orthogonal to the electron beam irradiation direction E.
