Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device of simple structure capable of braking with a quick response so as to stop wheels when the wheels are rotated at a predetermined speed or higher. SOLUTION: When rear wheels 18 are rotated, an axle 20 is rotated around a shaft, and rotation of the axle 20 is transmitted to a coiled wire 56 through a bevel gear 58. With rotation of the coiled wire 56, a disk 40 is rotated in the horizontal direction, and with rotation of the disk 40, a steel ball 50 is moved to a peripheral edge of the disk 40 by centrifugal force. When rotation exceeds a constant speed, the steel ball 50 moves upward in inclination of a guide member 46, and the steel ball 50 is brought in contact with a friction plate 52 so as to generate friction.
