MOVABLE BODY DRIVE UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit which drives a movable body by an electric motor, and which suppresses vibrations, generated by an external force, of the movable body by utilizing a braking force of the electric motor. SOLUTION: This movable body drive unit drives the movable body which is provided in an opening of a vehicle so as to be openable and closable by the electric motor. The movable body drive unit comprises: a driving means for driving the movable body at least to a closed state; the electric motor for supplying a driving force to the driving means; a detection means for detecting whether or not the movable body is in a fully closed state; and a control means for performing the control of the supply of electric power necessary for the electric motor. The control means performs control for connecting both terminals of the electric motor to each other so that the electric motor can be put into a dynamic braking state when the detection means detects that the movable body is in the fully closed state and an ignition signal of the vehicle in an on-state.
