Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing a fiber material, in which a dyed material excellent in a leveling property can be obtained in good reproducibility and a short time. SOLUTION: The method for dyeing the fiber material comprises pulling a dyeing liquid into a dyeing tank 1 into a circulating pipe line 10 and immersing a fabric into the dyeing liquid while carrying out temperature adjustment by a heat exchanger 11 and circulating the dyeing liquid to carry out dyeing treatment. The dyeing liquid during dyeing is circulated to a concentration-measuring apparatus 23 and light intensity in a visible wavelength region of the dyeing liquid is measured as a dyeing liquid concentration. Then, dyeing ratio and dyeing rate of a dye to a fiber material are calculated based on a measured value in a plurality of wavelength ranges and dyeing condition is controlled based on the calculated dyeing ratio and dyeing rate.
