HAZARD WARNING DEVICE IN COIL LIFTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hazard alarming device in a coil lifter capable of ensuring the safety by outputting the predetermined alarm when the coil lifter holds a coil in a singly effective manner. SOLUTION: A coil lifter has a pair of right and left limit switches 56a, 56b for checking load presence for detecting that an inner surface of a coil is loaded on a claw part inserted in an inside diameter space of the coil, and a pair of right and left limit switches 34a, 34b for checking the coil grip for detecting that a side surface of the coil is pressed against an inner surface of an arm. Based on the combination of the results of detection by the pair of right and left limit switches for checking the load presence and the pair of right and left limit switches for checking the coil grip, an alarm means such as an alarm buzzer BUZZ is operated via a relay circuit which is turned ON when it is determined that the coil is not located at the regular position of the coil lifter, any abnormal state is notified to an operator, and the crane hoisting operation can be stopped.
