Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for spectacle lens capable of machining grooves and V-shaped protrusions with high accuracy and of detecting the shape and dimensions of the lens after the grinding. SOLUTION: This manufacturing device comprises a lens machining section for machining the lens 100 forming a spectacle lens and a detection section for detecting the outline shape and/or the dimensions of the lens 100. The detection section comprises a pair of measuring elements. Each measuring element 11 comprises a sensor body 13 and a first member 15 and a second member 16 attached to the sensor body 13 and connected to each other. The outline shape and/or the dimensions of the lens 100 are measured by hooking the end edge of the recessed surface or the projecting surface of the lens 100 to the connection parts of the first member 15 and the second member 16.
