COVER GLASS ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE OF ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover glass attachment structure of an endoscope in which cover glass is hardly damaged even if an impact is applied to the leading end of an insertion part by mistake, and has excellent durability. SOLUTION: A cover glass receiving member 6, equipped with an outer ring wall 60 which has the inner peripheral part (6i) holding the cover glass 5 fitted and the outer peripheral part (6o) loosely fitting in a recess 4 of a leading end part body 2, is formed of a plastic material softer than the leading end part body 2. The bottom face and the outer peripheral surface of the region in the vicinity of the outer edge of the cover glass 5 are respectively adhered to the cover glass receiving member 6, while the bottom face and the outer peripheral surface 6o of the region in the vicinity of the cover glass receiving member 6 are respectively adhered to the recess 4 of the leading end part body 2.
