SOLUTION: A command current setting section 25 is provided with a target value correcting section 26 for obtaining d-axis and q-axis current command values idc, iqcto be given to an open loop control section 31, based on d-axis and q-axis current target values id, iq. If the d-axis and q-axis target values vd, vq, which are calculated based on a circuit equation of the motor from the d-axis and q-axis current target values id, iq, exceed a voltage limit, the target value correcting section 26 corrects the d-axis and q-axis current target values id, iqso that the d-axis and q-axis voltages vd, vqand d-axis and q-axis currents id, iqsatisfy √(vd2+vq2)≤Vlim and √(id2+iq2)≤Ilim.
