Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a reluctance motor 1 in which the characteristics such as iron loss can be prevented from being deteriorated due to distortion caused in each of steel plates 2 to be stacked in forming a group of grooves 4 not penetrating in a thickness direction which are formed on the steel plates 2 to be stacked to constitute the rotor 1 circular in plan view, the grooves 4 starting at the outer circumference of a circle and coming out toward the outer circumference of the circle in plan view and forming a plurality of juxtaposed streaks having a smooth curved shape such as an arc or a straight line simulating the curved line, so as to correspond to the number of magnetic poles of the rotor 1. SOLUTION: Etching is performed to form the group of grooves 4 not penetrating in a thickness direction which are formed on the steel plates to be stacked to constitute a rotor circular in plan view, the grooves starting at the outer circumference of a circle and coming out toward the outer circumference of the circle in plan view and forming a plurality of juxtaposed streaks having a smooth curved shape such as an arc or a straight line simulating the curved line, so as to correspond to the number of magnetic poles of the rotor.
