VIDEO REPRODUCING APPARATUS, INFORMATION ACQUISITION SYSTEM AND INFORMATION ACQUISITION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproducing apparatus, information acquisition system and information acquisition method in which even a device, that does not comprise a dedicated terminal for character data input, is enabled to efficiently acquire character data. SOLUTION: The video reproducing apparatus includes: an acquisition means (11) for acquiring video data and a program, described in a markup language, to be used for reproducing control of the video data; a video reproducing means (17) for reproducing the video data acquired by the acquisition means; program execution means (14, 15, 16) for performing reproducing control of the video data by the video reproducing means according to the program acquired by the acquisition means and screen display requesting input information; and a communication means (21) for transmitting to an external device (2) a command requesting the input information when performing the screen display requesting the input information.
