Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joystick whose structure and manufacturing are simple and easy, which can be inexpensively manufactured, and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A movable member 14 constituting the joystick 10 has a shaft 34 and a spherical portion 36 wherein an actuating member 12 is fixed to the shaft 34 of the movable member 14 to provide actuation of the movable member 14. A magnet 16 is disposed within the spherical portion 36 of the movable member 14 and positioned adjacent a three axis sensor 18 such that the magnet 16 moves in a hemispherical pattern along the three axis sensor 18 by an operation of the actuating member 12.
