Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column for chromatography equipped with a rod-shaped carrier, having high separation performance, and having an inner diameter sized which is not used yet practically. SOLUTION: In this column for chromatography equipped with the rod-shaped carrier, a covering body for covering the carrier, and a clamping body for adjusting adhesion of the covering body onto the carrier, the clamping body is formed in a cylindrical shape enclosing the circumferential surface of the covering body, and divided by at least one clearance extending so as to connect both openings, and the adhesion of the covering body onto the carrier is adjusted by widening/narrowing the clearance width of the clamping body.
