METHOD OF COOLING OR HEATING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cooling or heating equipment having a superior characteristic of not requiring management of water quality of individual circulation systems (branch circulation systems) and cooling or heating equipment extremely efficiently and economically. SOLUTION: In the method of cooling or heating equipment, a portion of cooling water or hot water is taken from a main circulation system of cooling water or hot water whose water quality is managed, and is supplied to a plurality of branch circulation systems of cooling water or hot water, and in at least one circulation system of the branch circulation systems, after controlling the temperature of the cooling water or hot water to a desired temperature, the cooling water or hot water is supplied to equipment to be cooled or heated included in the branch circulation systems, to cool or heat the equipment. Preferably, a portion of the cooling water or hot water after being used in the branch circulation systems is returned to the main circulation system and the remainder is recycled in the branch circulation systems.
