EXTERNAL FACING LOUVER FOR BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing louver for a building, which is excellent in workability, strength and design. SOLUTION: In this external facing louver for the building, a pair of substrate materials-cum-mullions 2 is preliminarily mounted on the outside the building 1; a louver material 3, which has the backsides of both ends fixed to the substrate materials-cum-mullions 2, is juxtaposed between the substrate materials-cum-mullions 2. In the substrate material-cum-mullion, a supporting piece 5 for supporting the backside of the end of each louver material is provided near the backside of a side surface 2a for covering an end 4 of each of the juxtaposed louver materials; a mounting member 6 for being fixed to the building is provided on the backside; and the pair of substrate materials-cum-mullions is fixed to the building at an interval, long enough to house the louver material, between them by the mounting member. The louver material is housed between the pair of substrate materials-cum-mullions, and the backsides of both the ends are joined to the supporting pieces of the substrate materials-cum-mullions.
