Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyester multifilaments having excellent physical properties with high strength and high toughness. SOLUTION: The polyester multifilaments comprises six or moer monofilaments prepared by irradiating a laser to all discharged filaments ranging from a spinneret to 300 mm along a spinning line and irradiating the laser to each of discharged filaments from three or more different directions, and satisfies the following items (1)-(4) at the same time: (1) strength ≥9.0 cN/dtex., (2) elastic modulus ≥130 cN/dtex., (3) toughness ≥30, and (4) formula (a) and formula (b), wherein Sm represents the monofilament strength (cN/dtex) of the mth monofilament out of m monofilaments, and m is 6 or more.
