SEAT STORAGE STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer an occupant seat into a storage state by simple operation while preventing a damage of an armrest provided on the occupant seat. SOLUTION: The seat storage structure for an automobile is provided with: a seat support means for displaceably supporting a seat back 16 of the occupant seat installed in a position neighboring to a sidewall part of a cabin to a use position and a storage position on a front side; and an armrest support means 19 for displaceably supporting the armrest 18 arranged on the sidewall part side of the occupant seat to an approximately horizontal use position and a storage position along the seat back 16. On the sidewall part of the cabin, a projection part 29 is provided on a position interfering with a movement track of the armrest 18 when the seat back 16 of the occupant seat is moved from the use position to the storage position, and when the armrest 18 is abutted on the projection part 29, a retreating mechanism for allowing retreating of the armrest 18 is provided on the armrest support means 19.
