PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter suitably corresponding to various kinds of postures of an operator, and suitably operable even in the posture. SOLUTION: The bush cutter A is equipped with a grip 23 enabling the operator OP to grip the grip 23 by one hand, a tip-side operation part 21 positioned at the site positioned at the tip side than the grip 23 on an operation rod 2 and for operating a power part 1, and a base terminal-side operation part 22 positioned at the base terminal side of the grip 23 and capable of operating the power part 1. The bush cutter A allows the bush cutter A to be operated without sense of incompatibility like the operation in an ordinary grip operation posture (P) even when a reverse grip operation posture (Q) of the operator OP carrying out the mowing of levee grass on a steep slope or the like is taken by operating the base terminal-side operation part 22 installed in the base terminal side of the grip 23.
