MOTOR CONTROLLER, ORIGINAL DOCUMENT READER AND MOTOR CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of solving the shortage of a memory capacity in reading an original document by driving an automatic document feeder means, and to provide an original document reader and a motor control method. SOLUTION: The original document reader is provided with an automatic document feeder means 30, driven by a stepping motor 35 and feeding an original document P from an original document storing section 32 for storing a plurality of original documents P; a resolution accepting means COM for accepting designation of a resolution, when the stepping motor 35 is driven and an original document reading section 214 read the original document P; and a motor control means 100 for controlling the driving of the stepping motor 35. If the resolution accepted by the resolution accepting means COM exceeds a predetermined threshold, the motor control means 100 controls and drives the stepping motor 35, based on an interruption operation mode; and if the resolution is less than the predetermined threshold of the stepping motor 35 in a high-speed operation mode which is higher than the interruption operation mode and which does not allow interruption to intervene.
