MOTOR CONTROLLER, ORIGINAL DOCUMENT READER AND MOTOR CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of suppressing the heat generation amount, even at driving in a self-activation region, and to provide an original document reader and a motor control method. SOLUTION: The automatic original document reader is provided with: an automatic document feeder means 30 equipped with a stepping motor 35, driven by the stepping motor 35 and feeding original documents P from an original document storing means 32 storing a plurality of original documents; a determination means 101 for determining whether a reading operation is interrupted or not while a reading section 214 reads the original document P fed by the automatic document feeder means 30; and a motor control means 100 for driving the stepping motor 35 in a pull-in region, at activation and driving the stepping motor 35 in a pull-out region, after a predetermined stabilization step is passed through, when it is determined by the determination means 101 which determines that the reading operation has been interrupted.
