Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording control device capable of simply erasing the identical program content recorded on a plurality of recording apparatuses. SOLUTION: When recording reservation is performed for an identical programming content from a digital television receiver 1 to recording apparatuses 3 and 4, an erase mode indicative of an erasure method is established for the program content recorded by recording reservation. For example, the digital television receiver 1 controls a recording apparatus chosen according to the erase mode from the recording apparatuses 3 and 4 to erase the program content recorded by recording reservation after the end of reproduction for the program content recorded by recording reservation.
