Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a solid electrolyte capable of easily reducing a pore diameter, and capable of efficiently and surely manufacturing the solid electrolyte sufficiently improved in proton conductivity under a low humidity condition. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the solid electrolyte includes a process of preparing a silica-based meso-porous body of introducing an organic group having an ion exchange capacity functional group in a meso-pore, and a process of providing the solid electrolyte by reducing the pore diameter by laminating inorganic oxide in the meso-pore of the silica-based meso-porous body by a CVD method.
