OPTICAL MEASURING DEVICE FOR TEST STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preferred optical measuring device can avoid systematic errors. SOLUTION: An optical measuring device for detecting coloring of a test field of a test strip which is to be wetted with a liquid for detecting a substance in the liquid, wherein reflectivity of the test field changes depending on concentration of the substance to be detected, includes a measuring plane on which the test strip is placed, an illumination device for illuminating the measuring plane, a planar image sensor, an optical system for imaging the measuring plane onto the planar image sensor, and an electronic evaluation unit for evaluating signals detected by the planar image sensor, the illumination device comprising light sources or other means of different colors, which alternatively illuminate the measuring plane in different colors, and the electronic evaluation unit detecting the coloring of the test field from images obtained under different color illuminations.
