METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE HAVING SHAPE OF CUP WITH FLANGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin molded article having a shape of a cup with a flange enabling high aspect ratio with a thin-walledness even when a stretched PET or PPS sheet of which molding is difficult is used. SOLUTION: A resin sheet 1' softened by heating is conveyed between a punch 15 of a vacuum box 12-a vacuum side block 16 and an air pressure side block 17 of an air pressure box 13. Next, while clamping a part of the resin sheet 1' corresponding to a flange part 1b with blocks 16, 17, the part of the resin sheet 1' corresponding to the cup part 1a is pushed in a hole 17a of the air pressure side block 17 with the punch 15 and opening parts 12b, 13b of the boxes 12, 13 are closed. Afterward, the resin molded article 1 having the shape of a cup with a flange is molded in the state of keeping the interior of the vacuum box 12 vacuum and in the air pressure box 13 in air pressure.
