WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN system for reducing interference between access points by dynamically controlling operations of a plurality of access points using the same channel. SOLUTION: A wireless LAN system 1 for performing IP communications with a wireless LAN terminal 7 in a linear area by radio, includes: a plurality of access points 4 disposed in the area; a wireless LAN management device 2 for controlling operations of the access points 4; and an information management section 6 for storing an operational status of an access point 4 and a range covered by the relevant access point 4. And, the wireless LAN management device 2 includes: an AP operation confirmation section 21 which is activated at predetermined time intervals to check whether an access point 4 is operated normally or not and stores the operational status of the access point in the information management section; and an AP operation control section 22 which reads the operational status of the access point 4 from the information management section 6, determines whether to start or stop the access point 4 operating normally, and controls the operation of the access point 4.
