ISOLATION TRANSFORMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isolation transformer capable of improving the insulation properties between a primary side and two sets of secondary sides by a compact and simple structure and securing insulation distance which is surely demanded for further increasing the voltage. SOLUTION: A core made of a magnetic material arranged, while straddling a first bobbin 1 and two sets of second bobbins 2, is divided into a first core 10 positioned at the side of the first bobbin 1 and a second core 11, positioned at the side of the second bobbins 2. An insulating member 13 is interposed between the opposing surfaces of the first and second cores 10, 11 and between the opposing surfaces in the axial direction of the first and second bobbins 1, 2. The outer periphery of the primary and secondary coils and that of the first and second cores 10, 11 are continuously surrounded in the axial direction by a cylindrical outer-periphery covering member 12 having insulation properties.
