SOLUTION: The information processing terminal 1c includes a reception part 23 for receiving instructions that a restriction mode should be or not be effective, a restriction mode setting part 24 for recording information indicating whether the restriction mode is effective in an HDD 13c according to the instruction, an authority setting part 25 for, if the recorded information indicates that the restriction mode is effective, setting the user at the next start to a user who is not authorized to change the system or add software, a determination part 26 for determining whether the restriction mode is effective after the information processing terminal 1c is started, a temporary area ensuring part 27 for ensuring part of the HDD 13c as a temporary area 82 to be initialized when the information processing terminal 1c is started or shut down, and a temporary area recording part 29 for recording data written to the HDD 13c in the temporary area 82 if the restriction mode is effective.
