INFORMATION RETRIEVING METHOD, PROGRAM AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily collect data to be set in a table. SOLUTION: This retrieving method includes steps of: receiving the designation of a format of a table composed of one or more items and data parts corresponding to the items, and inputs of data of a title and an item name of each item; generating a search expression corresponding to each data part from the data of the title or the data of the title and the item name of an item part corresponding the data part according to a search expression generation rule corresponding to the designated format of the table for the data part; outputting the search expression corresponding to each data part to a prescribed retrieval engine for each data part, acquiring a retrieval result including information showing the location of data to be set in the data part from the prescribed retrieval engine and storing the retrieval result in association with information representing a position of the data part in the table to store the retrieval result in a retrieval result storing part; and generating display data by setting information representing the location of the data to be set in each data part on the basis of the data stored in the retrieval result storing part.
