Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fatigue sensor sticking method for easily sticking a fatigue sensor onto a member and effectively preventing the degradation of adhesive strength on the stuck fatigue sensor and to provide the fatigue sensor suitable for such sticking, and a protective coating for the fatigue sensor. SOLUTION: The method is provided for sticking the fatigue sensor 1 onto the member 5. The fatigue sensor 1 is structured to fix both ends to the surface of base foil 2 and to join sensor foil 3 to the other part so as to have a clearance. A thin film 10 is stuck to the fatigue sensor 1 to closely cover the whole periphery of the clearance between the base foil 2 and the sensor foil 3, and in this state, the back face of the base foil 2 is stuck onto the member 5 with an adhesive 4.
