Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell that provides no effect on design around a display portion where the solar cell is disposed and can cope with variant shapes having corners in plane form of the display portion in electronic devices equipped with various solar cells. SOLUTION: The electronic device comprises a display portion 2 and a solar cell 1 having a long side 1b and a short side 1c, in which the long side 1b of the solar cell almost runs along the periphery of the display portion, the power generation area 1a faces the central side of the display portion 2, and the solar cell 1 has a plurality of slit portions e, f and g in the direction approximately perpendicular to the long side.
