METHOD FOR PRODUCING FOAM METAL MOLDED BODY, AND FOAM METAL MOLDED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a foam metal molded body, in which the foam metal molded body in which the body part is formed of a foaming part, and a prescribed part locally requiring strength is formed of a solid part, is easily produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the method for producing the foam metal molded body where metal powder and foaming agent powder are mixed, so as to prepare mixed powder, a precursor (11, 21, 31, 41) is produced from the mixed powder, and the precursor (11, 21, 31, 41) is foam-molded, so as to produce a foam metal molded body (16, 26, 36, 46) having a foaming part (14, 24, 34, 44) and a solid part (15, 25, 35, 45). Upon the foam-molding of the precursor (11, 21, 31, 41), the body part (18, 28, 38, 48) having the foaming part (14, 24, 34, 44) and a solid extending part (19, 29, 39, 49) extending from the prescribed part of the body part (18, 28, 38, 48) and formed of the solid part (15, 25, 35, 45) are integrally molded.
