Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller which enhances drivability by improving responsiveness of an actual driving force with respect to a target driving force based on an acceleration operation of a driver. SOLUTION: This vehicle controller is provided with a power source, and an automatic transmission mechanism for changing a speed of an output torque from the power source to be transmitted, calculates the target driving force in association with the acceleration operation of the driver, and controls the power source and the automatic transmission mechanism, to attain the target driving force. The vehicle controller is provided with an actual driving force detecting means for determining the actual driving force of the vehicle (step S12), and a target driving force calculating means for calculating and setting the target driving force (step S13) based on at least an acceleration control input and the actual driving force determined by the actual driving force detecting means.
