Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electric discharge machining electrode capable of simply manufacturing the highly accurate electric discharge machining electrode at a low cost. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the electric discharge machining electrode is provided with: an A process for disposing a photoresist layer 2a on a conductive substrate 1; a B process for covering the photoresist layer with a mask 3 having the wiring shape of the electric discharge machining electrode projected thereon; a C process for exposing the photoresist layer to ultraviolet light 4 via the mask; a D process for developing the photoresist layer, and leaving a pattern 5a with the wiring shape of the electric discharge machining electrode formed by the mask while removing the other photoresist layer; a process for repeating the processes from the A to D at least once on a pattern as substitute for the conductive substrate and further overlapping a pattern 5b on the pattern to form a mold 5; a process for electrolytically plating it using the conductive substrate as a plating electrode, depositing metal on the mold and forming the electric discharge machining electrode; and a process of demolding.
