Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating hydrazine-containing waste water, can efficiently decomposing hydrazine in the hydrazine-containing waste water, and a method for treating the hydrazine-containing waste water. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for treating the hydrazine-containing waste water includes a treatment tank 5, at least one catalyst 12 disposed inside the treatment tank 5, a waste water supply line 3 for supplying the hydrazine-containing waste water to the treatment tank 5, a waste water discharge line 6 for discharging the waste water from the treatment tank 5, and an oxygen supply line 8 for supplying oxygen to the treatment tank 5. The waste water supply line 3 is provided with a discharge nozzle 4 arranged at the upper part of the catalyst 12, the discharge nozzle 4 is configured so as to spray the waste water, and by spraying the waste water by the discharge nozzle 4 in the state of exposing the catalyst 12 in an oxygen atmosphere, the hydrazine in the waste water is oxidized.
