Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a plurality of operators to simultaneously perform editing at their editing terminals through a network. SOLUTION: An editing system 100 is composed of a plurality of editing terminals 3, a data server 1, and a push-type server 2 that are connected through a network N. An editor performs editing using the editing terminals 3. Control means 18 of the editing terminal 3 generates layout information according to the content of the editing operation, and sends it to the push-type server 2. Control means 13 of the push-type server 2 transmits the received layout information to the other editing terminal 3. The control means 18 of the other editing terminal 3 having received the layout information reproduces the content of the received layout information on an editing screen, thereby synchronizing editing screens of the plurality of the editing terminals 3 in editing.
