Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a transflective liquid crystal display device, which has columnar spacers formed uniformly to a target height, and has small color unevenness etc., and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The color filter for the transflective liquid crystal display device includes a transparent substrate, a colored layer formed in a region for transmitted light and a region for reflected light on the transparent substrate, a light shield portion formed on the transparent substrate so as to section the colored layer, and the columnar spacers formed on the transparent substrate and/or the light shield portion, the colored layer being in close contact with the entire peripheries of bottom-side side surfaces of the columnar spacers.
