Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio controlled timepiece capable of maintaining always high precision, and simultaneously reducing power consumption, by selecting a radio wave function and a year difference (temperature compensation) function. SOLUTION: When switching between the radio wave function and the year difference function, in performing switching operation from the year difference function to the radio wave function, radio wave reception is performed automatically. Until the radio wave reception is succeeded, the year difference function is continued to prevent remarkable decline of precision. The function is applied to a world timepiece, and even when the radio wave is transferred from an unreceivable domain (city) to a receivable domain (city), reception is performed automatically.
