Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system can select an operation mode having an enhanced actual operation merit for use in operation. SOLUTION: A part of a plurality of types of operation modes is a plural cycle correspondence type intermittent operation mode in which one of operation cycles arranged in time series is set to be an operation cycle for operation to perform an operation of a cogeneration device 1, a plurality of operation cycles subsequent to the one operation cycle are set to be operation cycles for waiting to stop operation of the cogeneration device 1, and an operation time zone for operating the cogeneration device 1 in the operation cycle for operation is defined to be a time zone when operation merits related to time-series estimated energy consumption of the cogeneration device 1 and time-series estimated energy consumption of an auxiliary heating means 28 are enhanced. When a decline degree of hot water storage temperature determined by a hot water storage temperature decline degree detection means D satisfies a waiting operation cycle reduction condition, an operation control means reduces the number of the operation cycles for waiting in the plural cycle correspondence type intermittent operation mode which is a selection target of the operation modes for operation.
